guess who I had a beer with?
I went to Larry Day’s book signing at Anderson Books for George Did It and Not Afraid of Dogs. I know Larry from illustrator meetings at my local SCBWI chapter. At the book signing I met Eric Rohmann who is the author and illustrator of Clara and Asha. They are both great guys—and very encouraging. Afterwards we went down the street to an Irish Pub for a beer and I got to see Larry’s really cool picture book dummy that’s currently under consideration at a really great publisher. Based on the sketches, it looks like it will be really great when it comes out!
