I art directed this cover for Guideposts for Kids magazine. The cover story was about genetic engineering. We always had kids on the cover. Well, except when we had that cover with the 50 foot chicken on it. Anyway, I wanted to show scientist-boy in a super high-tech laboratory.
“Where will we find a high-tech laboratory to shoot in?” they asked.
“We’ll use CGI,” I said.
“Where’s that?”
Bob Conway shot the humans, and the frankencorn. Tim Wallace created the fabulous computer generated laboratory.
