After viewing some fellow illustrator’s sketches last weekend, I was inspired to draw this. It’s very rough, and I’m not sure I’ll take it much further than this. Debbie had drawn someone in a very “How To Draw Comics The Marvel Way” (which really should be called “How To Draw Comics The Kirby Way”) pose, and Mike had drawn a group of heroic characters. I thought to myself on the way home what a group of characters from the Arctic might look like. Iqniq is the boy in front with the fire. The shaman Kinapak is next to him, and the wolf is Aglakti. Big Mac Pigat is holding the book he got from the librarian he ate. Wee Miki the ice sprite is riding Icicle, the Airwhal.
